Every patient coming to you for the treatment talks to you about something. It is not always necessary that he talks only about his sickness. He may do so about his business, about his surroundings including social and personal affairs, etc. and may totally ignore talking or complaining about his sickness for which he comes to you. So the first thing to be noted by you is WHAT HE SAYS, AND ABOUT WHAT. The second thing to be done by you is to OBSERVE WHAT HE DOES (WITH HIS HANDS, LIMBS AND FACIAL EXPRESSIONS IN THE SHAPE OF GESTURES) while he talks.
